A week or so away...

Hello!

I've wanted to check in with everyone.  I started back to work this week and my meds arrived yesterday.  It makes it VERY real that IVF protocols for number one will begin in a week or so.  It scared me a bit to see all the packaging and meds, etc. and this was only after working a "meet and greet" with new families to my classroom and seeing a month old subling of one student and another mom letting me know she is giving birth next week.  My husband took me out to dinner and at the restraunt, 5 expectant moms.  Went to see "WE ARE THE MILLERS" and yup, 2 more.    It is very much on my mind and will be a reality in a week or so when I have my baseline ultrasound and bloodwork done.  Anyone think "this is really happening!"?   That's the mode I was in last night.

Today, I went shopping and bought a few new pieces for my teaching wardrobe and feel like the 1st day with my students will be a good one come Monday.  Looking ahead, yet trying to take one day at a time.

I love reading everyone's updates and of all the recent BFP'S....congratulations.  For those struggling, ((((hugs)))).  We are all in this together and the supportive tone of this board is amazing!  Hope everyone enjoys their Labor Day weekend! ....yup, there is goes again, the topic of pregnancy.  =)

Sounds like everything is happening. I know sometimes it can be overwhelming. I go back to the classroom Tuesday, after my monitoring appointment of course. I will be co-teaching with the same teacher as last year, who rushed to get pregnant after I shared some of my struggles. At least she'll be gone on maternity leave before the end of the month. Pregnancy is all around. You try to not notice it, but it's always there. ((hugs))
FX for a great school year and a great cycle!

So exciting to be almost there! I am totally with you on seeing a bump EVERYWHERE i go. Honestly, I swear, never go to Ikea if you don't want to see a bump because gracious, if I didn't see at least 25! Not a super pick me up trip, as I had been hoping for. My dad says it's just when something is on your mind you see it everywhere.

Yay for a new school year and new cycle!
