5 weeks, pink when I wipe

Have had slight cramps like I'm going to get my period. When I wiped, saw very light pink on toilet paper. No other bleeding. Thoughts? I called my dr, waiting for call back.

I just had brown spotting when I wiped and now more on the panty liner. I am worried as well.

Have you had sex recently? That could cause that. Even if not, lot's of women cramp and spot early on as their body goes through changes. Take it easy and try not to stress until you talk to your doctor. T&P's that everything is alright.

Not trying to make you worry more but I would call your doctor. I had slight pink when I wiped last April and told my self it's nothing but wanted to get check out anyway, I ended up having a mmc at 9weeks

. I hope that's not the case for you, but it never hurts to get checked out if you are worried.

I had that at 4 weeks and it just ended. Hope it ends too in your case.

Pink isn't always bad. I would lay down take it easy until you hear from the dr. I know a ton of people who have pink and its completely normal.

So dr said to take it easy this wkd and come in on Tuesday. It's our wedding anniversary today. What does take it easy mean? We had plans to go out, dinner, walk around city, movie and some shopping this wkd.

You can still go out to dinner but I skipped the walking around town as that can make cramping worse however unfortunately if you're going to miscarry there's nothing that you can do to stop it. But try not to think about it and enjoy your anniversary!! When I was pregnant with my son I had that and I freaked out but then it turned out to be nothing!

The one time I did have a miscarriage every time I wiped there was pink or bright red spotting. If it stops or goes away it was probably just the result of intercourse (The blood vessels around your cervix are very sensitive right now) and it's probably nothing!

I had spotting with my last pregnancy, and it turned out not to be serious. My OB always says to call about any spotting because it is considered abnormal, even though it is common. They just say not to exercise. Going out to dinner and walking around a little bit would be fine.

I think you will feel better if you call. I have had spotting and talking to the nurse has calmed my nerves. By chance are you a negative blood type? My doctor mentioned that if my spotting continues into week 7, I need to have the RHogam (sp?) shot. I am A- and he mentioned that being a possible cause.

I had pink spotting last pregnancy twice and everything was fine. It's not always bad. It's always scary though.

I'll be 7 weeks tomorrow and this just happened to me this morning. I'm freaking out a little but also know there's nothing I can do about it. I havent had any cramps so i have no idea what it could be. My appt isn't for another 2 weeks but might call tues and try to get in a lil earlier...

I am in the same boat. Pink discharge this morning when I wiped. No cramping. I am 7 weeks tomorrow and my 2nd appointment is this coming Friday. I am so freaked out right now.

Update: I just got off the phone with the dr. He said its normal around 7wks because of attachment of the placenta and my body pushing old stuff out. He said as long as it isn't period type cramps with red period type bleeding then I'm okay. Thank God for the dr calling back so fast!

I had one pink wipe the other day and got into the ultrasound right away, im dating 9 weeks 3 days with a heart beat of 175, and the little bean was daning around in there. But There was 2 small blood spots from premature seperation of the sac but this apparently common, as long as the bleeding stops and your not having unusual pain you should just relax!
