Swollen fingers/toes

I was in a car yesterday for 5 hours. We stopped several times so I could walk around. Well today my fingers & toes are really swollen. Any advice for me? Maybe the two are unrelated but this swelling is semi uncomfortable.

Drink a lot of water and try to limit how much salt you consume.  For your toes you can also try putting your feet up.  Also if you know you have more long car rides coming up, you may want to get some compression stocking to prevent the swelling.  Good luck!
