Mamaroo vs swing

Ok mommies -- mamaroo vs a traditional swing. Aside from the price difference, anyone used both and have a preference?

I've used both and the mamaroo is the way to go. It has multiple settings for both the swing and sounds. Plus it plugs in. I love the fact that LO falls asleep in it. It is amazing.

Ya the momaroo is awesome with the many swing patterns and the sounds. You can also connect your iPhone or iPod into it. I LOVE it!!

We were going to register for Mamaroo and NOT a swing.  Took it off our registry when our friends, who have triplets, could not calm any of their three children in the Mamaroo.  We will be inheriting their Mamaroo, they got it second hand from a set of twins that also did not like it.  It is to my understanding that most babies either love it or hate it, a lot of money to spend if your baby does not like it.  Most babies seem to like a traditional swing, we will be registering for a plug in model.

im with you. we had both she didnt like the mamaroo as much it was slow and now at comfortable as the snug bunny. im so much happier with the swing.
