Okay- what is the trick to updating the signature. I believe I've hit save 100 times and yet nothing. Do I have to offer something to the bump gods? (j/k)

Did you get it?  If not, here's what I did:

I just found out that I was trying to edit my signature incorrectly, and that’s why it wasn’t working!  I figured I’d share how I got mine to work, for all of you who were also having issues

Once logged in click the community button in the top right corner

Just below that under my stuff: click profile

Click on your number above board posts at the top middle of the page

Click the view post button on one of your posts

Find your post and click on your avatar

Click the account options button in the top right (looks like the silhouette of a person – small) and select the preferences drop down

Click signature settings  at the left side of the page

Enter your signature, links and/or ticker as desired.  See the Simple HTML link (below the signature box) for further help.  I found it works best if you click the <> button before entering the code for your ticker and then clicking the <> button again before saving.

To preview your signature click on your avatar again, then click on the discussions link under your photo.  Click the title of any of your discussions and find your post.  Your signature should be the most current version.

**I had been trying to edit my signature using the Edit My Avatar & Sig button at the top left of the page on My Bump.  This signature box is labeled “My Forums Signature.”  I deleted everything I had in that box and now have it empty.**
