First Appointment Today!

I'm so anxious and nervous, today I go to my first prenatal appt! The nurse told me I would be getting an ultrasound, I'm 6 weeks today. Also if everything goes well I will be telling my boss today too. I wanted to wait a few more weeks but she is going on maternity leave next week for 12 weeks. Any advice for my first appt. and telling my boss?

    GL at your appointment!! No tips for the first apt, but curious about telling the boss - why wouldn't you just wait until she returns from leave? You would be less than 20 weeks when she comes back from leave.

    Good luck at the appointment.  I wouldn't stress about telling your boss.  If anyone would be understanding, it should be someone going on maternity leave.
