WTF airports

Why is it that I can NEVER get a flight out of the local airport? What's the point of it even existing? It would be so convenient to drive 20 minutes, park my car and be off, especially for work travel. But no, any time there is even a flight to my destination, there are multiple layovers or a requirement that I hop a bus from one airport to the next. This is not the aggravation I want right before a holiday weekend.

Our local airport sucks, too! The flights are always more expensive! It's typically cheaper for us to drive an hour to CLT or RDU and fly from there.

We have yet to fly out of it because they don't fly non stop every day and it hasn't seemed to work with our plans.

It is cheaper, short drive, no lines, and free parking. I hope we can eventually make use of it!

This sounds like ours. But I'm never headed to Florida.
