Small Update

Hi ladies-

I had my monitoring appointment today for my Sept. FET. Lining isn't growing as well as we want- no need to worry, just probably increasing my estrogen and maybe some patches. I'm so trying to be all cool and calm and not paranoid this cycle- I'm thinking I'll make it until like 3 days before transfers and then I'll be hell on wheels. ha ha

My overthinking brain has come up with dozens of questions about this one little blast that I have- and I am so afraid to find anything out. I'm scared it won't be the miracle that I think it is- I mean, this blast wasn't planned or expected at all. I finally got enough courage to ask about the grade this morning. My RE spit it out like he had it memorized, didn't need to look at the chart, like he is flabbergasted by all of this too- its a 6BB- which they say is really good. I really don't know too much about grading, although it is on a 1-6 scale and 6 is the top. He also said he isn't really sure why it worked this time, and I get that- don't question the good things- just be happy something good happened.

I hope increasing your estrogen does the trick.  When is your transfer date?  I think 6BB is awesome and very promising! I will also keep everything crossed for you.

Thanks! RE said it will be 1 week from when my lining is thick enough for transfer. I'm thinking sometime in the 2nd week of Sept.

From what I understand, 6BB is very good. Good luck! I'm currently pregnant (very, very, very early) from a single blast. They don't tell me the grades but it was good, not crazy good.

Wow! Poohniki! You are going to be in great shape. Patches and estrogen suppositories made my lining perfect after trouble with my lining in my last cancelled FET cycle. Your blast is better than best! Sounds like you use the same grading system as my clinic. 6 means its hatching on its own! The very best is 6AA...and my RE said that they rarely see anything a six, and that there is negligible quality difference between an A and a B. first letter is representative of the number of cells, second letter is something else. Mine was a 5AA and they said that's as good as it gets "perfect" because they rarely see a 6! Not sure if you do acupuncture, but you should plan to go right after transfer, because this little blast is going to be ready to implant right away!!!
