completion coupon registry question

The other post reminded me of some things I wanted to ask, but I didn't want to hi-jack the thread.

How early do they send you the completion coupon? 

Does target limit what it can be used on (I remember BabiesRUs excluded toys, diapers and some other stuff.)

I'm a STM and am really only registering for the completion coupon and to keep a list of things I need new.   I was thinking of throwing some stuff on there for LO1#1 too.  I'm trying to decide what to make my "due date" for registries based on when I can get the completion coupon. .  I thought about putting this on the shower board; but figured they might get all flamey about registering a 2nd time.

Target does hold exclusion as well and they also make you use yours all in the same day. (they did at least when I had dd).

Should say it does hold exclusions, being it has exclusions. Pregnancy brain will be the death of me.

Target limits electronics. Mine never came so my husband had to call and raise hell! We finally got it a couple weeks after baby was born!

Thanks ladies!  I'll probably register at Target since I can get more using the coupon. . .  I remember last time I put nursing tanks and bras on there and I'm thinking I'll want some new ones.

I never got either of mine (Target or BRU). BRU sends it based on the due date you use, I'm not sure about Target. Also with BRU the discount is more if you register in person rather than on line.
