Dr ordered u/s -- update 6w 1d, no HB

Had my ultra sound and baby is in the right spot! Great news.
Dr couldn't find a hb but she said it was early. I was 6w 1d so she said not to worry. But I know so many people see a hb that early. Have to wait for my next appt in 10 days. Sigh. :(

    I'm sure it must be hard as we are all excited to see that first heartbeat.  Hang in there and hoping you see that cute little flicker at your next appointment.

    Some of the older ultrasound machines have a hard time picking it up. Stay positive. I'm sure your next ultrasound will show a strong little heartbeat

    I had mine yesterday and was dated at 5w6d, and the NP was actually surprised she found a hb and said it had probably just started beating in the last day or so...still pretty slow at the mid-80s. So I'm sure everything is fine!
