Suprise pain at incision site 5months PP

Obviously a CS is major surgery, I healed just fine after mine and thought nothing of having just had surgery 5 months ago.  I started working out recently, made my 1st attempt at leg lifts and fealt a searing hot burn across the incision.  Apparantely I'm not ready for leg lifts yet.  Has anyone else been caught off guard months or years down the road by something from their CS?

After my first I had a pull in the right side of my incision that lasted for almost a year. Every time I lifted my left leg to go up a stair, that right side hurt. Had another c section since and did not have trouble the second time. Currently pregnant again so we will see.
