Matching baby blankets? #firstworldproblems

I'm looking at the Aden + Anais Dream Blankets for the girls. I particularly love one pattern. I have a 2nd that I like but don't LOVE it like I do the first. Should I go ahead and order two of the same pattern or two different patterns?

I feel bad for the baby that gets the "eh, I don't love it" pattern.

See, told you. #firstworldproblems ;)

  • oh, ha ha ha! yeah, i don't think your daughters are going to think you love one more than the other because of a blanket.

  • You could always switch the blankets between the babies. :)

  • See, these are the problems that people don't take into consideration when there all *squee!!* "I'm so jealous of twins!" They think about how cute two babies are but never of the hard work that goes in to making them adorable and matching/coordinating.

Just switch the blanket up. Give the Love It blanket to the twin who is crying less that day. That should spur some healthy competition.

  • I ended up ordering two different ones.

I guess I was more wondering if they would be better off having two different patterns so that if they do have a "favorite" or "lovey" of their own, we know whose is whose.

I like both the ones I ordered. And for the price I paid for them, they better freakin rock these kids worlds. :)

  • You would be surprised how well kids can tell the difference between two seemingly identical blankets when they have a favorite.  NBD :)  Besides, your kids might now have the same taste you do and think the eh one is much more interesting :)
