My BIL and his wife left today. We had a lovely time with them, although I am a bit worn out. They loved spending time with DD and were a huge help carrying her around in the backpack carrier when we went sightseeing without DH.
We ended up taking them to Glenfiddich's distillery, a bunch of local castles, and did a couple hikes.
DH planned a hike that he "swore" went through several little villages and if it got to strenuous, I could stop, rest and get a bite to eat. We started out in a small village.....8 miles later. (We tracked the distance) we finally arrived at the next town....Thank goodness I brought enough water and snacks and the elevation stayed relatively flat.
Now, I have three days to clean (again), get laundry done, and relax until my Mom, Aunt, and Uncle arrive early Monday morning.
How are you all doing?

It's early lol have we all hit the "sleeping like shit" phase yet? I would have definitely pulled a dramatic "No... Go on with out me.." around mile 4

Had our a/s Tuesday and saw baby-LO bouncing around. Still team green although I was really really tempted to find out.
So glad you had fun with family round 1.
I was so worn out this week, I actually slept through the night every night this week which is a first for me this pregnancy!
I wanted to give up during the hike...but we were in the middle of nowhere in a forest. It seriously sucked

I'm def in the "sleeping like shit" phase...
8 miles, I would be down for DAYS. I feel like if I go to the mall now I'm worn out. It's slightly ridiculous.
