What about Ivan?

At Christmas all of our friends were joking that we should name our son "Ivan".  We have a lengthy Polish last name and they were saying no one would ever screw with the kid, not to mention an automatic spot in the NHL.  After the holidays I was thinking, "It's really not that bad of a name." Am I wrong?

I'll probably be in the minority here, but I love it. Though I had a Great Uncle Ivan. My sister plans to name her son Ivan and call him Van.

Okay.  I guess that settles it then.  I'm officially screwed when it comes to names because we've got NOTHING.

It's my Dad and my nephew's middle name.  I wouldn't use it as a first name, though.

Casmir, Damian, Damon, Joaquin, Konrad, Tobias, and of course I still like Ivan! GL!
