2008 Jeep Grand Cherokee and Britax Marathon?

We are looking at new cars and may get a 2008 Cherokee.  I remember a year or 2 ago a friend of mine had trouble getting her Marathon installed in the Cherokee because the headrests weren't removable.  Has anyone had this issue?  I'm not sure how the 2008s are, but we're going to check them out later.  If you have this car, do you like it?

Do you have a marathon already that you could bring with you?  I have a mid-size suv, and it is right up against the headrest when dh drives.  It's fine for me, but I'm a shorty (5'2").
