DD will be 8 months tmw and she is still waking up at 4:30. She doesn't really cry just like a playful whine. We don't feed her but we do change her diaper. She usually just goes back to sleep. She wakes up between 6 and 7. I put her down for her nap at 9:30 and she sleeps till 11. Her next nap is at 1:30 and she will sleep till 2:30 or sometimes 3. She is in bed asleep by 7. DD1 was sleeping through the night at 6 months and had no problems.
Does anyone else still have this going on? Or any tips?
Re: Anyone else still not STTN?
Baby Girl is 7 months, goes to sleep peacefully (usually) around 8-8:30, and usually sleeps pretty soundly until around 4-4:30, when she wakes up crying. We give her the pacifier and a couple pats on the back, and she goes right back to sleep until she repeats it around 5:30. then she's up for good between 6-7.
Our family practice has several different pediatricians that she sees, one recommended that we let her cry it out instead of giving the pacifier, so she learns to put herself back to sleep. the other recommends that we just keep doing what we're doing since she passes right back out.
When my DD wakes though, she eats. It's usually 10 minutes and I halfway sleep through it. I consider her to be STTN because she is sleeping 10-11 hours before waking. My son woke up 5+ times per night until he was 16 months old...this is HEAVEN for me!!
