I discovered this name last night and am intrigued. It's an Irish name, the Anglicised spelling of Adomnán/Adhamhnan, who was an early Irish saint. Although it is not included on Behindthename.com, it seems to be a legit name. Google shows lots of things called St. Eunan's in Northern Ireland. Two of our top boy names are Ewan and Eamonn, so I thought this name was an interesting mix of the two. Thoughts?

I like it.  Doesn't seem made up to me.  I'm a fan of almost all names Irish, so pretty biased, but I'd put it on your list for sure!

ETA I did look it up after reading all this and saw one possible meaning which could be traced back to "terror" in Gaelic...I generally take things like that with a grain of salt, but hopefully it isn't too foreboding.

I can't really get behind any name with the "ew" sound in it, so that's already a strike against Eunan, but then I also thought of eunuch. Stick with Ewan.
