I always thought pregnancy cravings were kind of a joke.. it's like, yeah I get it... you really want something. But boy was I wrong. I keep having these intense cravings where the thought of having anything else makes me want to throw up, but eating _________ is the ONLY thing that I can even consider eating, so I HAVE to have it. And it ends up making me feel better.
It's making things pretty frustrating, but I usually make it happen because I want to feel better. And of course, I never crave anything healthy.
Please tell me I'm not the only one? And for fun, list your "have to" cravings.
So far mine have been:
- Chipotle
- Cheese Baked Potato from Wendy's
- Egg & Cheese on Toast (in the mornings for breakfast)
And now.. Cinnamon Toast Crunch with cold milk. I'm considering going to the store to get it, but I'm hesitant because I feel so pukey right now. I'm also considering doing Einsteins drive through for a cinnamon raisin bagel.. I must be "needing" cinnamon for some reason.
Re: These cravings are no joke!
-McDonalds chicken nuggets and frys with hot mustard.
-Cake and ice cream, like I'd crash a 4 year olds birthday just to get my fix
-anything with sourcream but mostly burritos (which doesn't help with the gas)
-salt anything with salt for the love of god give me salt!
When I write it all out I'm ashamed... So thanks a lot.
padma55 I had half an orange this morning and it tasted like it was the best thing I have ever eaten. Now just a couple hours later it sounds disgusting to me
my husband and I watch a lot of shows on the food network (e.g. diners, drive-ins and dives & chopped). last night I told him we couldn't watch them anymore (or had to cut way back) or else he was going to be flying all over the country to find me these foods, which once I hear about them, I MUST have. I've been craving a crab Rangoon pizza from Des Moines for 3 days now. I'm going to have to find a way to make it myself because I NEED it.
I used to travel all over the country 3 weeks out of each month for work. These cravings are really brutal because I'm craving things I've had once in my life and are no way attainable. My poor husband is trying so hard, especially since I just weighed myself today and I've lost 3 more pounds. Uggg....I'm not doing so well at this eating thing.

Dinner time!
I'm dying to have a Taco Bell Mexican Pizza, but haven't indulged yet.
And I bought a box of Mac 'n cheese, although I really want Trader Joe Mac 'n cheese and quite frankly anything else from Trader Joe!

If you ask me what I came to do in this world, I, an artist, I will answer you:
Jello with fruit
Anything with peanut butter
Sliced apples with Cracker Barrel white sharp cheddar cheese slices.
Tuna with LOTS of pickles...yummy!
Also, Mexican. Pizza, not like Dominoes, like from a mom and pop place. Also, buffalo wings.
I just asked the hubby to go to Moe's.
Omg I've been wanting moe's white queso sooo bad!
