Insurance is the devil (rant)

So bummed. Was supposed to hear the heartbeat for the first time (12w4d) and because we recently (monday) had to switch our insurance to my husbands we were unable to attend the appointment. We were told by the insurance company we were all set but then when we arrived at they hospital we found out they only update once a week so they had no record of us. Really? Dear insurance company, how is it possible that you only update your accounts once a week? Do you know it's 2013 and there is no reason for things to update immediately. That is all.
