Hi! I've been gone for like, a year. I hope everyone is well!

I had to come here and check in with everyone and get some advice...

I have Hayden (my 1 year old son for those who don't know me) in daycare near our house and about 6 miles from my husband's current job. My husband landed a new job in downtown Atlanta (about 50 miles from where we live now). I work in Duluth (about 25 miles from home).

In our situation, would you move your kid to a daycare near your job OR keep him where he is? He's really happy at his day care. I like his teachers. The price is great. But we do intend to move to Duluth in January. So move him now? Or let him stay as long as possible?

First, Hey Lady! I've been wondering how you've been!

Second, if you plan on eventually moving to Duluth, I would at least begin the search for a good dc, and then when you find one you are comfortable with, consider the switch.

You all make good points. Especially about having a day off or being sick and needing to take him to daycare... I think I will leave him where he is. I checked out one daycare near my work and let's just say I was not impressed...
