At the very beginning, like 3 weeks after conception, before I could even take a test, my hair got really greasy at the roots with all three pregnancies. It went away after about 5 days and I never thought anything of it. This time though, it is back and it has been a week and nothing is making it go away. I did have my moms friend (who is a stylist) tell me it was definitely hormonal and not product build up, but I forgot to ask if there is anything I can do about it.
Is there anything I can do to get rid of it? It's really embarrassing, looks like I dont wash my hair.
Re: any hair stylists I can ask a question to?
I am not a hair stylist but my mom is and I would imagine putting certain products would make it worse however why don't you try dry shampoo?? my hair gets really oily the next day after I washing it, its horrible! So If I don't have time to wash it every day I use dry shampoo it asorbes all the oils and odors!
I hope this helps
I had this problem and nothing seemed to help. I finally came across an article that said to use listerine because it is an antiseptic. I thought it was crazy but I was desperate so listerine it was. It worked!! It made my hair super soft too. Thank you doctor google.
