S/O Stalking Charts and Testing...

I am always one to advocate that one waits until a missed period to test. Usually I'm going about not peeing on things, but I've done that a few times this cycle (9 and 10DPO, stupidly - BFNs). Not sure why I have no will power this cycle. Today I am 12DPO, and my temps are still nice. Usually, during my 13-14 day LP, I spot the last couple of days before AF. So far, no spotting. I'm basically psyching myself up for another failed cycle, but I'm contemplating testing tomorrow if my temp stays high. FF has Thursday down as test day. What do you think - should I wait until Thursday to test, like the good girl I want to be? If your temps were high tomorrow, would you test? FWIW, I have Internet cheapie strips (with a digital stored away somewhere), so it's not like I'm wasting good money or anything. (If I were giving me advice, I would say to test Thursday, but it's so much easier to give advice than to follow what you'd suggest).

Hmm... I don't understand this "waiting to test" thing I see all the time on the boards. Why not test? I would rather know and move on with my day/week/month than to psyche myself out. Truthfully, if I didn't test daily starting with 10DPO then  I'm sure i would get zero work done because I would be starring at my FF chart, and wondering if I felt a twinge in my ute all day. But that's just me. 

I say go pee on a stick (or a strip I guess)

For me it's balancing the potential waste factor (took seven cycles for DD) vs. weighing the possible accuracy of the test if taken early. I just get good at distracting myself.
