Hi ladies,
I'm looking at cribs online to get a feel of what we might like and I have run into mini cribs. Can someone tell me, or they better or worst than regular cribs?

Re: STMs- Crib question
I do agree with you that my daughter will not be getting a full size bed at 4 or 5 years old. We will get a twin regardless of the whether the full size crib converts to a full headboard.
Ultimately I chose to get a cheaper full size crib that converts to the toddler bed/daybed. It was in the same price range of the mini cribs and I'll use it until she outgrows it - 4 or 5 years is what I'm seeing is common. Then we'll get a twin mattress and frame. There is no need for a headboard/footboard right away unless we just happen to find an awesome deal or have extra cash at that point. So that expenditure is the same as the mini crib - twin mattress and rails - but the purchase was just delayed a few years.
I have a specific question about my daughter's Emily Mini Crib. I know that it has the rails to convert it to a twin sized bed, but she's not quite ready for that yet. I see that the full sized Emily 4-in-1 Convertable version has a daybed option by simply (it appears) removing the footboard from the crib configuration and having the mattress support at the lowest setting. Will this work for the Emily Mini as well, or is there a stability issue with only having the headboard, sides and mattress support?
Hi Christi-
I'm sorry but that's not an option for the mini crib.
Sorry for the inconvenience.
