That makes me seriously, honestly, really contemplate moving to Canada. I'm sure DH could get a job there. I'm going to look into this. I can handle the snow for the lack of guns, health care, and college tuition I won't have to save for.

I can't even go there...there are too many people in my real life that I am fighting with about conspiracy theories.  I don't get it.  If people are right about this stuff (BIG if) then what good is going to come from digging it up?  People are nuts.  I will be ignorant if crazy is my other option.

All I can picture while reading the other thread is the women with the gun on her dresser hearing a noise in the night, loading her gun, stubbling out of her room with her gun up ready to fire and pointing it at her child who got outnof his crib and is playing with toysor something.

My dh is a hunter, we have guns in the basement locked in seperate safes as per the rules and I fear someone breaking ina and making me open the safes and killing me. (I don't even kniw, or want to know where the keys are). Carrying on in my diaper bag that I leave in my stroller while i push him in the swings? No freakin way!

It never fails to amaze me how some women will get worked up over something like the correct position of the car seat chest clip but think nothing of bringing a loaded weapon around children at a park.
