Long time board members...Question about this boards flow and info....

Hey ladies.  I have noticed we have a lot of new ladies on our board which is awesome.  That being said we keep getting a lot of posts about if I am pregnant...when can I POAS etc... While I like the flow of this board maybe it would be helpful like the other boards to have a blog or newbie section for those joining us. This board is awesome and I love it just thought it might be a little more helpful for the new people and help the older board members from having to constantly repeat the same info.... thoughts? concerns? volunteers to help tackle this?

Me DX: Hashimotos,Hypothyroid, DOR, MTHFR,  DH: normal

 IUI #1-#4 BFNs and a few cancelled cycles in the mix.
- poor responder
***Suprise BFP on 6/13/13. Natural MC @6wks 3days
IVF#1 and 2- Cancelled due to no response on max stimms
FET 5/20- BFP
1st Beta- 641
2nd beta- 2166
Sono- TWINS!!!!
Two Boys! Born January 2015 @36 weeks.  Healthy and no NICU!  So blessed!

    I think it's a great idea.   It could also include info about charting temps and fertility friend.
    Me-41, Hubby-40.
    1st BFP-8/17/12!  Missed Miscarriage discovered @ 8 week US.  D&C.
    2nd BFP-2/13/13!  Blighted Ovum discovered @ 8 week US. Natural miscarriage.
    3rd BFP-5/22/13!  By early June, progesterone plummeting.  Another loss.
    August 2013 - started Donor Egg process, but surprise BFP with my own eggs.

    Spotting,clot 2/15/13 all ok......2/21/13 no heartbeat 11 w 4 d missed miscarriage........2/22/13 DnC :(

    Yep, good idea. I find the new format confusing but I am willing to help out if I can...

    I agree with the ladies about having a tutorial/meet and greet type of approach for newbies to ensure that they understand to whom they are posting to and to know if, they are at the right place.  I am not the most IT savvy person and don't know how to set this type of forum up, but if I can help in any way....let me know.  Providing the basic tempting/charting info and Fertility Friend info., is a great idea to get them started.  :)  If, I think of any additional ideas, like these from the pp, then, I will chim back in......

    I don't mind answering questions. This board is not very active. I like it because it's more welcoming to answer what seem like basic questions (we were all their once) than directing someone somewhere. But that may be because I have never seen it done in a kind way before.
    Me:39 Dx LPD, Fibroid, AMA and all that goes with that. H:37 Dx low motility and low morphology. TTC since 3/12. Clomid 8/12 and 9/12: BFN. 11/12 on a break for Myomectomy sched. 11/26. Resume TTC early 2013.

    I think there are people who would rather research for the answers, people who no matter what is presented will ask questions, and those that will fall in between.

    I think having some basics would be helpful. I do miss how much interaction there used to he on this board, its become pretty quiet from when I first joined

    My Ovulation Chart


    Me: 41 DH: 46. We are TTC our 1st, started July '11,
    3 cycles clomid with Ob,
    1 cycle Tamoxifen with Ob,
    Diagnosed PCOS 11/5/12
    clomid, trigger & timed bd 12/12 BFN
    1st clomid IUI 1/4/13 BFN.
    2nd clomid IUI 2/13 cancelled didn't respond to clomid.
    3/15/13 scheduled laparoscopy & on bcp.

    May 10 IUI from injectibles - BFN 

    May 22 done with interventions it will either happen or it won't. 

    February 2014 No longer actively trying, but not preventing. 

    SURPISE BFP 4/2/2015!!!!!!!!!!

    ME:46 MH:44 DE IVF 2014
    Met with RE 4/11. 2 IUI's BFN. DE best option. Switched clinics to do "shared" program. Had to retake all tests and a mamm that put me behind and then on a DE waiting list for 12 months. Picked a donor!! (10/13/13) Got matched. Estimated transfer in December. After 2.5 years of patiently waiting I will finally cycle....can hardly believe it. DE cycle got cancelled. One of her tests came back positive.  Waiting for another donor. Donor picked!! (1/18/14)

    DE IVF #1 (4/26) BFN  DE FET #1 (6/4) BFP! Beta 1=339 Beta 2=852 Beta 3=9957 EDD 2/22/15!!

    @Beckyp005 glad its not just me, I don't know if we just lost lots of ladies to BFP or deciding not to ttc anymore, or if life just got them. Or we all have nothing new to share LOL!

    I think all what you mentioned. This board was crazy busy when I first started. I haven't had anything to share for so long I only posts random posts that are usually stupid! The ones that have been trying for awhile probably are just frustrated at this point in there journey and can't be bothered.

    I look at other boards and they are hoppin with posts but mostly because they already have kids and are happy? Idk does that make sense? I'm not witty like some so I can't be funny on here....haaahaaha. Hmm I really don't know.
