Smoked salmon - yes or no?

I've seen conflicting articles. Some say its not safe and others say its fine to eat.

So which is it?

I wouldn't eat it without heating it up first.  If you zap it in the microwave for about 10 seconds, it should be fine.

I'd eat it. Unless it's been sitting in the hot sun all day or something.
