A boy name we finally agreed on!

I havent found out yet about if baby is a boy or girl...I am not sure if it will be THE name if it is a boy.. BUT he said he liked it and that's a HUGE step knowing my DH.
Caleb Jon nn CJ (DH likes!)
Or
Griffin Jon nn Griffey (DH is kinda on board)
Thoughts?

Griffin is nice but I like Caleb a lot better.

Both flow nicely with Jon as middle name. And I like initial nns so CJ is great.

I once had a student named Kaleb that has caused me to have bad associations with the name Caleb.  I want to like it, but I can't.

 

I'm not the biggest fan of Griffin, per se, but a college roommate named her son that and he is adorable, so I tend to like a bit more nowadays.

I am a huge baseball fan and growing up in the Ken Griffey Jr ara makes me really fond of the nickname.
But I adore the name Caleb! As long as DH doesn't veto another name after he said he liked it, Caleb will probably win.
