8 weeks! What to eat? Don't feel like alot

My problem now is that I don't feel like anything when it comes to meals, dinner inparticular....i am very indecisive, and nothing sounds appealing for dinner tonight? What are your "go to" dinners lately?

Re: 8 weeks! What to eat? Don't feel like alot

  • I had this problem yesterday, so I went to the store and walked around until something sounded appetizing.  DH and DS had leftovers while I had ramen noodles and strawberry greek yogurt.

  • Same here. My go-to right now is protein shakes. I don't feel like eating but I'm still getting a good amount of protein and calories that way. And it's quick and easy.

  • Chicken noodle soup...seems to be all I feel like eating.

  • Ugh I have the same problem. I'm lucky enough that he makes dinner every night so I hate telling him how nauseated whatever it is I come home to makes me! I stood in the kitchen crying last night because there was absolutely nothing I wanted to eat, but I was starving!
  • I think I might have pancakes for dinner - or honey nut cheerios. DH is having steak.

I did this last pregnancy. When we are planning supper and what to get out of the freezer, nothing sounds good. I just tell DH to decide and I'll eat what I can. I find starchy/carby things to go down well - mac & cheese, bagels, etc.

  • I just scroll all possible foods in my mind and then choose something less yucky.

  • This is my issue as well. I am 8w5d
Tonight it's Mac and cheese. I don't feel nauseas but nothing sounds good. It's horrible
  • I have been sticking chicken breasts and thighs in the crockpot on Sunday nights to have chicken all week to make wraps, salads, etc all week long.

My bestie is 11 weeks and the other day she started having an aversion to chicken. Can you imagine?? I'd lose my mind
  • I'm having aversions to a lot of meat. It makes it hard to get protein and I used to live on chicken!
  • I ate a whole acorn squash for lunch and it was pretty good.  Mac and Cheese is calling my name right now for sure.

This is what I do also when I can't make up my mind.

You ladies are so smart! I never thought of doing that!
  • Chicken sounds so disgusting to me right now. I just convinced my husband to have pasta with butter for dinner, sigh.

  • Lately I've been way more sick, vomiting started today, all meat sounds gross, and everything smells weird. I hate those sick/starving/nothing sounds good moments! Chicken noodle soup sounded good (cheap stuff not the quality ones haha). But the noodles/meat made me sick could only handle the broth and 1/4 cup of smoothie. Food torture! Nothing greasy, no meats, nothing heavy, and most things taste weird. The end of my rant

  • I've been wanting comfort foods I ate when I was a kid that I haven't eaten since.  But no meat, really.  Cheese and egg are my protein.
