Eye problem

My sons left eye is red and grayish looking on the whites of his eye.. No pus or fever, his tear duct is red too.. The other eye is fine, any ideas of what it could be? It doesn't appear to be pink eye

Could be a blocked tear duct.

When my son's eye did this I started from the far corner near his ear and gently with my pinky finger massaged in tiny circles the skin under the lash line towards the inner corners of his eye.  My mother said when I was 6months old I had a severe duct clog & had to go to a specialist who told her to do this to prevent possible surgery.   Make sure to wash hands in baby soap or use a q-tip if you would prefer every hour or so.  I did this for 3 days & his cleared up with no futher problems.  Good luck!
