I know I'm a day late, but barely had the opportunity to browse this board yesterday. This is such a great idea! I only ran once this week. Did a 3.5 mile run with DH. I usually only run a lot when training for a race (currently not doing any). I am registering for the Nike Women's Half in December. The race is in April. I won a spot in the lottery last year and set a PR in April. I may be doing a 10K in late October. Other that that, no other races.

M14 January Siggy Challenge: Resolution I have no intention of keeping...SHOPPING LESS!
Intro: I swam competitively and ran cross country in high school, stopped running in college, then gained a bunch of weight. I started running again and it stuck. I've done 2 marathons and I'm training for my 3rd in October (Steamtown Marathon in Scranton, PA)
How were your runs this week, ladies? I did my first 20 miler of this training cycle, and my total for the week was 37 miles plus a 25 mile bike ride. A bunch of my coworkers know I run a lot and say to enjoy it before I have kids, and I guess that's sort of what I'm doing.
GTKY: Training for the Steamtown Marathon in October. I'd also love to do a half Ironman someday (I did a sprint tri a couple years back and liked it!)
Intro: I've been running for a few years, but really consistently for the past 6 months or so. I never really liked running, until I started actually doing it, and I'm definitely a runner now. I love the quiet time it gets me. I'm currently in a Run For God training group working up to my first 5K (I can run that far on a treadmill in A/C, but not in the south Texas heat/humidity). From there, I want to go to a 10K, a half-marathon, and eventually a full marathon... My first 5K will be sometime in October.
Last week: Ran 3 days, 2.4 miles each run, average of 11 minutes/mile walking/running.
GTKY: I don't have a specific race in mind - I'll have to find one that fits my October schedule.

Sorry I've been MIA. Looking forward to catching up with the latecomers in next week's thread!
I hope you'll join us even if you're "not really a runner" or "not really running". We could all use a good kick in the pants by way of motivation, and we'll do it nicely (we promise).
Intro: I have been running since February and still feel very new to it all. I have done 1 novelty 5k and 2 chip timed 5ks. I actually got a medal in yesterdays race!! I blogged about it (link in siggy)! I would love to do a 10k in a few weeks but I am not sure if I can do it. The farthest I have run to date is 5.6mi. I love my Brooks running shoes but no one told me to buy bigger so I am battling sore toes until I wear these out. I just finished reading Run Like a Mother and it had great tips for mothers.
I would love to do the Rock N Roll 1/2 marathon here in Nov but I am sure I will be several months preggo by then. So I am hoping I can plan to train for it next year after having a (hopeful) summer baby.
