Today was my 9th morning of Lupron injections. I took my last BCP on Saturday (thank goodness!)... waiting for AF to show up, I am spotting and crampy this AM, so looks like today will be the day for AF. I have my next RE appointment on Thursday -- it will be my "Supression Check" before I start stims. I am scheduled to start Follistim shots on Saturday.

I guess that's it for me...

QOTW: I would spend my extra hour a week having a nice meal (without interuptions or distractions) with my wife. A little weekly date.

    Me - 30, My wife - 31 , Together for 10 yrs - Married August 2012

    5 medicated IUIs w/ RE (March - July 2013) = BFN

Fresh IVF Cycle in September 2013 resulted in 18 mature eggs, 16 fertilized, 12 made it to day 5. I'm 4 dpiui.  I don't know if I'm crazy, but my uterus feels... heavy.  It's felt heavy since I had the IUI done.  Has anyone else experienced that?  I've never had sperm inside my uterus before so I wonder if it's just a foreign substance and my body is still reacting to it?  Or could it be the Ovidrel making my ovaries go nuts?  Good lord, I hope I didn't shoot myself in the foot.  I had a nightmare about having 4 fetuses in my body.  I really don't think I could handle that.

QOTD: If I had one extra hour... Hmmmm... I'd probably lay in bed and read :)

We are sitting in the clinic waiting to see the nurses to get the ovidril trigger shot.
M has a 19.2mm follicle and they want it over 20mm. We will take the trigger shot home with us to trigger Tuesday night for a Thursday IUI. But M will also come to the clinic tomorrow morning for quick bloodwork and ultrasound to make sure she isn't surging on her own. If she is surging,
they will call us tomorrow afternoon and tell M not to trigger but rather to come in weds for an IUI.
We were hoping for two mature follicles on this Clomid cycle but unless something super special happens, the 13mm follicle won't mature in time.

QOTW: it depends on what time of day/week it was. At night, we'd probably spend it watching TV to be honest. But if it were during the day when we were both free and awake, I'd like to do a long dog walk in the woods or have sex. :)
    ****loss discussed*****

We're queer. I'm 33, have severe stage 4 endo, and had both fallopian tubes removed. My love ("Manada" on the boards, 32) was diagnosed with diminished ovarian reserve. We did Partner IVF (my eggs, her uterus). We lost our twins Tavin and Casey at 21 weeks gestation.

    Our IUIs
with @Manada: IUI# 1-7 (December 2012- September 2013) all BFN. Tried natural, femara, clomid, puregon/follistim, clomid and menopur combo, both the ovidrel and HCG triggers.

    Our IVFs:
IVF #1 my eggs November/December 2013: Cancelled IVF due to poor response

    IVF #2 my eggs/Manada's uterus January/February 2014
BCPs and lupron overlap Stimmed: 1/22-2/2: Bravelle and Menopur (dosage ranged from B300 and M150 to B375 and M150 to B300 and M225)
2/4 retrieved 10 eggs. Endo was much worse than expected. Only 3 eggs fertilized; February 7 transferred two day 3 embryos, froze one. All great condition.
    BFP eve of 6dp3dt; Beta 1 (11dp3dt): 110; Beta 2 (13dp3dt): 175; Beta 3 (15dp3dt): 348; Beta 4 (19dp3dt): 2222; Beta 5 (21dp3dt): 4255
    1st ultrasound (3/6  6w 1d): TWINS!!!! Twin A measuring 6w1d with a heartbeat of 118bpm. Twin B measuring 6w0d with a heartbeat of 113bpm.

***July 18, 2014 we lost our beautiful babies at 21 weeks gestation. They were born too early. Tavin Sara T. and Casey Elizabeth T. are beautiful and precious and we will love them and miss them forever.***

    FET #1 December 2014
Intralipid infusion on Dec 10. Transfer of 1 day 3 nine-cell embryo into my uterus on Dec. 19. (acupuncture immediately before and after)
    BFP on Dec. 27; Beta 1 Jan 2 (14dp3dt): 665, Beta 2 Jan 4 (16dp3dt): 1859, Beta 3 Jan 6 (18dp3dt): 4449, Beta 4 Jan 10 (22dp3dt): 12,251.

FX for all you in the wait!!!

GW: Sorry this cycle didn't work, but sounds like you have a good plan to nail the timing on this next attempt. Will you doc do a beta blood test? That is a sure way to know you're pregnant - and, my acupuncturist nailed it both times - first time, she knew I was pregnant before I did. Second time, she said "there is a quality of pregnancy to your pulse, but it's not 100%" and indeed, it was a chemical pregnancy that ended mid-week 4. But the beta tests confirmed things (first time, 180+, second time only 40).

KH: We are so close in our cycling! I have my suppression check tomorrow and am truckin' away on Lupron too! Our transfers should be super close! YAY! I'm excited to have you as my cycle buddy, though sad @ball.and.chain isn't with us this month :(. (And further sad about her foot).

Update - My last BCP was on Friday and I'm still doing my 10cc's of Lupron daily. I added an alarm on my phone to remind me and it's been so relaxing not having to remember! :) Old lady tricks I guess. AF is imminent and my first u/s (suppression check) and blood draw is tomorrow! Then I start estrogen patches with the next blood draw the following Tuesday. Knock on wood - the preparation part has always going like clockwork for me - so hoping this time is no different.

Back to acupuncture last week, and am working hard on my hip which is SO much better! I got a cortisol shot a week or two ago and I am shocked at the difference. I feel like I've got my life back!  Back to yoga too which has been very emotionally helpful, not to mention the physical. J said last night "honey, I don't think you should ever NOT be doing yoga." So true! It is my happy pill.

Otherwise, I am having baby/kid dreams, which isn't too far out of the norm for when I cycle, but they've been weird or interesting or fodder for the dream interpreters :).

QOTW: I think if I had an extra hour, I'd just have quiet time with my latest New Yorker, or my phone, and just putter while lying in bed with the window open for fresh air and views of the giant evergreens in our hood. I'm not great at holding still, so it'd be good for me to have "extra" time that I didn't feel I was being inefficient or wasteful laying around.

    Lil'mamaz was born on Aug 21, 2014! She's PERFECT!

It's been a long road to here...
    Me (43) and J (45) - same sex couple. And we don't feel 40+!

Mar. '13 - Missed m/c at 16w1d, baby boy stopped growing at 15w4d
Loss due to umbilical cord clot...baby was perfect. :(
    Jul '13 - FET#1 - c/p
    Sept. '13 - FET#2 - BFN
    Dec.' 2, 2013 - FET#3 with our last chance embie - BFP!!!

Today is 6dpi, had a a very busy rest of the week last week and busy weekend I am thankful but at the same time ready for somethings to slow down.

QOTW: If you had one extra hour a week, how would you spend it?
Probably just spending time with the wife relaxing.

Married in September 2010, started TTC journey November 2012

    Me-

    7 IUI- 2 CP- 2 BFN

RPL blood work 12/27, showed a balance translocation in chromosome 11;22

    Spouse-

New Plan: Reciprocal IVF, me as carrier wife's eggs. Just went through insurance and received partial approval, so my part will go through my IVF benefits and wife's part will be out of pocket. Now just finalizing finance plans to cover the oop costs. Doctors office is in process of moving to a new building so there are no IVF start ups until March/April 2015.

Well, I updated you all on my hysteroscopy last week and nothing has changed since then (in my ute anyway!).  Trucking along on estrogen; I start progesterone on Friday to induce a period and then we're into the next cycle.  The nice thing about the hormone therapy is that it should create approximately 28-day cycles, whereas my "normal" cycles tend to be closer to 32 days.  At least it'll shave a few days off each cycle between now and FET.

QOTW: Since this is fantasy land and money doesn't come into play, I'm going to choose a couples massage or other spa treatments for my wife and me.  Good call @trisholio!

@GoaliesWife123: Sorry that your first cycle didn't work, but glad to see at least it's finally resolved itself!

    @trisholio, @lbugher, @KLeigh1, @kristi&p: Good luck with the rest of your 2wws!

@KH826 and @2MamazinSeattle: Hope the suppression checks go well.  So bummed not to be your IVF buddies anymore!

@healz413: Good luck with that follie (or follies)!

Good day everyone! We are currently 5dpiui and everything feels totally normal. I had some serious cramping after this IUI which was really uncomfortable, but that is all done now. My temps have been steadily higher than usual, but that must be from the Clomid.
We are feeling pretty chill about this one. Definitely don't have our hopes up. If we get pregnant this cycle we will deliver in the busiest month of my work year... Which I would totally be okay with! At the end of this cycle we are going on vacation, so either way We win... Either I will be sitting on the beach growing a baby, or sitting on the beach with a Corona... I like those odds!
Wishing everyone luck for wherever you are in your journey.
QOTD: it depends from week to week. I think mostly I would want to spend it in a park enjoying the sunshine!

We are 7dpiui today. Nothing exciting happening other than trying to decide if we are going to do a hpt or wait to see if I miss my period. The consensus this morning was to wait and see. So that means another 8 days, approximately. We'll see how that goes...

QOTD: If I had an extra hour each week, at this point I would want to spend it with C on our motorcycle.

    Me: 30  DW (aka C): 29

Together since 2/15/11 ~ Legally married in NY on 9/29/12

    ***CP mentioned***

We've been working on baby #1 since July 2013 using Open ID donor sperm.  8 IUI attempts with 5 actual IUIs and one chemical pregnancy.  We have one fresh IVF cycle under our belts as well as a FET.  I have endometriosis and a uterine septum that was corrected via surgery in November 2013.

11/14/14 -  Second HSG shows that tubes are still clear and ute is looking good.

12/6/14 - Started BCPs in prep for IVF #2

12/22/14 - Saline u/s and endometrial scratch (All was clear and OUCH!)

    1/2/15 - Began stimming for IVF #2

My acupuncturist told us that my pulse indicated a pregnancy(for two weeks), but she also thought that my body was trying very hard to hold on to it. There is no way to know for sure, but after what went on in the last few weeks, I wouldn't doubt if I was, at one point. I'm not seeing an RE, so we'll wait to see if we get a positive this cycle and go from there.

We are hoping for better timing this cycle for sure!
