So it finally happened. Alice swallowed a rock before I could fish it out of her mouth. I am guessing it was stuck in her throat for a minute. She was crying every time she tried to swallow. But she was most definitely making noise so I knew she could breathe. We got her some water and she got it down. So...now what? Do I just watch her till it passes? She is acting fine. No random crying or anything. It was just a small pebble out of a sand volleyball court, so I don't expect any real damage...other than maybe a sore butt when it comes out.

Yikes, I'm sorry to hear that!! But yeah, as long as she is normal then I would think she is fine. You can always call your pedi's office in the morning tomorrow if you're still concerned.
@BandEddie lol yeah he did feed her prunes. Silly husband. I may call but pretty sure it's a matter of making sure it passes. If she starts acting like her belly hurts, I will be more concerned.

Ds1 swallowed a small bead. Coughed for a minute went down. Didn't call pedi went in a few days later for unrelated problem but could have been the bead. They said we should have called. So I would call Monday morning just so they are aware and can tell you what to look for as a complication.
