Traveling with a toddler is exhausting PIP

edited August 2013 in Stay at Home Moms
We are in Baltimore for a 4 day weekend, and traveling with a kid is exhausting. She sleeps well in our house or familiar places, but never in hotels. The first night she fell asleep around midnight in our bed. Needless to say she was a bit moody on Saturday when we went to the aquarium. She lasted about 2 hours before melting down at everything. On a good nights sleep she probably would have lasted about 3-4 hours. We had the babying name to go to yesterday, and she did sleep in the pack n play. She also fell asleep around 10 instead of midnight. Today we were busy all day and skipped her nap. We went to inner harbor and took a boat ride, went to the Orieles game (she lasted through 5 innings!). She played on a playground and then went swimming. By the end of the day she was so incredibly drunk tired. Not melting down but stumbling and definitely acting goofy. She passed out at 6:30! Here are some photos at the baseball game.
The worst is managing her food allergies. At Camden Yards peanuts were everywhere! The worst was when she was super exhausted and stumbling around, she almost fell into a huge pile of peanut shells! Our hearts almost stopped.
