29 weeks and having preterm contractions

Thursday I was in the hospital all day with preterm contractions. They did a work-up for preterm labor but that came back negative, but my doctor said that doesn't mean I won't have him preterm cuz even though my cervix is still up I am dilated 1 cm and my baby is head down. Has anyone ever had this happen to them? How do you keep claim and not worry?
