AW: Family 'approval'!

Good Morning!!

I haven't posted much in the last few months because I just felt so defeated in regards to my family. I have a very close family being that we all work together at the same company (me, my grandfather, my parents, my brother, two uncles and two cousins - it's a lot!) so their approval was a big deal to me.  The only person who didn't understand our choice of adoption was my Grandfather.  He is very, very old school (he just turned 80 years old!) so he didn't get where we were coming from with wanting an open adoption.  

This past week, he called me into this office to tell me to follow my heart and he 100% supports our decision and! and! and! He fully supports me being a SAHM!  Which is HUGE!  I never, never thought that would happen!  I'm so excited - it's time to really get this ball rolling now.  Sorry for AW'ing but I am just so excited -- I had to share it somewhere!   Thanks!  :)

    That is awesome. I know how much family approval means.

    I am with you on that one! I have had some very encouraging convos with family over the past few weeks, and it makes a huge difference!
