Final fling

So, I am taking DS to great wolf for one final fling before kindergarten (*sob*). We are going with my college roommate and her daughter (same age). DS wasinitially thrilled (he loves gel) and then immediately got huge tears when he realized his little sister isn't going. The amount of love that they have for each other brings me to tears. (It is the only child in me).

    That is so sweet!!!  Let us know how you like Great Wolf Lodge, we really want to go there at some point.

    Reminds me of the time DS almost cried when he thought we were going to get rid of his sister.

    Stupid iPad! :) gel = gwl= great wolf, :) Aimee - we love great wolf!! We are lucky that it is super close so we go a couple of times a year. I always wait for their 48 hr sale to get a good deal. :)

    Poor guy! What did he think you were going to do with her??
    I had asked him one night at dinner if he would like to have another baby brother or sister someday and he said "no," so I said "no? you don't think it would be fun to have another baby here?"   He thought about it for a minute and got teary eyed and said "We have Holly? We have Holly, mama???"  and then I realized he thought I meant we would be getting rid of his sister and replacing her with a different baby.  He adores his sister so he was upset, but after a little explaining he was ok!

    Whereabouts are you? We're in Bushkill Twp, about 30 minutes from GWL.

    So sweet. Hope you and DS enjoyed -and he has a great 1st day of Kindergarten.


    DD cried more than I did when DS started preschool. She cried every day for the 1st 2 weeks and asked constantly when it was time to pick him up. She missed him so much.

    There is a Great Wolf about an hour from me. We have never been. DD is 15 months; is she still too young?
