How much bigger can they get?

My belly button feels like it is going to tear open with each passing day.  I know the goal is Michelin Man babies, but holy pain.  What kind of growth spurts did you experience in the final weeks?

It keeps stretching more and more!! I'm at 36 weeks with only 6 more days til my scheduled c section and I wonder how much more they'll grow until then lol!! Sorry can't see how far u r....

mine are 4 3 and 4 10 at 33 weeks...the Dr wants me to try for 38.... I just cry everyday I wont even lie.  Oh and they average 1/2 pound a week gain.  I'm crying again just typing this....ugh.

I wish I could just unzip for some relief.  I go in on Monday for my next growth scan and am very curious to the results considering I am losing weight with every appointment...

It seemed like exponential growth every.day.!!!  They put on the most weight/fat the last weeks of pregnancy.  Expect for them to gain 1/2 pound a week until you deliver.  My boys were born at 36 2/7 weighing 5#13oz and 6#10oz.  Had I made it 8 more days I would have had over 6 & 7 pounders.  I know how you are feeling, but trust me it will be over soon.  It is incredible to see & feel your belly after you deliver.  Like a deflated balloon lol   But the relief is immediate, even after a csection!  Good luck!

I had a 7lb 12oz baby and a 7lb 2oz baby at 37w3d.  They can get pretty darn big!

Toward the end of my pregnancy, I literally told DH every day, several times a day, that I felt like my belly button was going to tear. That feeling of being stretched beyond belief is no fun. Luckily it IS temporary and will end as soon as you welcome your LOs to the world!

Mine were 7 lbs 6 oz and 7 lbs 1 oz at 38 weeks 1 day! I was huge at the end. Hang in there... It is amazing to have big babies with no NICU time

DD was 8 lbs and DS was 6lbs 9 oz when born at 37weeks...so yes, they can get big!

I only made it to 34w and they were 5lbs and 5lbs 8oz. So not huge, but good size for 34w! i had a hard time sitting at a table an eating for the last week or so.

My boys both weighed 7lbs at birth and I measured 54 weeks at my last appointment!  I looked like a Mrs. Potato Head with skinny arms and legs, and a ginormous body.
