I voted Jack, but I like all of them with the exception of Grady (which is just NMS) and Hendry (which just looks like a typo).

I've never heard of Hendry but I like the way that it sounds so I went with that!

Tough deciding between Dean & Rhett was hard, but I went with Dean! (Both Rhett & Dean are on my list!)

I've been really liking Rhett as well, but now it kind of reminds me of the Simpsons when Homer was like "...nothing rhymes with Bart!"

I think that "people are going to bully him" is the worst reason ever to abandon most names, but I realized that Rhett is setting the kid up to get called "Rhettarded" all day long

I'm not condoning the word! But kids are mean sometimes...

I voted Rhett, but my close second was Jack.

It was a tie between August and Rhett. I ended up voting Rhett, but think August nn Gus is just so adorable!

Love Dean and Rhett. Kind of like Hendry though prefer Hendrix.

I think Hendry is silly. I picked Desmond because I really like the name. Although we would never use it. And I'm opposed to single syllable names on a personal level because our LN is single. I like a first name with a little meat on it.

I voted for Jack but it was a hard choice between Jack, August, and Grady since all 3 are on my list.

Thanks guys! Also Hendry is legit just in case that would help- it's a Scottish variant of Henry (which I also love)

I know I am in the minority here - but I am just not seeing the greatness in the name August for a boy.

I agree with you about August. And even tho Hendry is legit, I speculate the majority of people won't know that and will think its a typo or effort to be youneek. This board is not a good sample of "normal" responses when it comes to knowledge of legit names and their origins and meanings. I voted for Jack.
