How Late will your Doc let you be?

Do you mind me asking if you're diet controlled or on meds? I am diet controlled and they told me 41 weeks. I don't want to put the baby at risk though by going too far over...is this something i should research further?

Also diet controlled. IDK. That's what I was told at my appt with my MW. I would bet a million dollars my doctor would let me go to 41 weeks.

Thanks, I thought you were diet! I will try to look into this more...DS was almost a week late, so I'd hate to be induced or do a RCS if not totally necessary!

I have GD and recently began using insulin. Originally my doctor said 41 weeks,but now she is saying we will have to wait to determine that based on what baby weighs at our ultrasound. I'm hoping we can keep the 41 weeks so baby has a better chance of coming on its own...

My MW said at 11 days they start discussing options with you.  I will do all sorts of old wives tales to try to make this kid come out at that point. I do not want to be induced eeeeeek
