PSA on PAIF/SAIF responses (sig warning)

Hi all,

I still check back in here, but have noticed lately that very few people have "SAIF/PAIF welcome" in their signatures or posts, so I very rarely respond.  First, if you aren't comfortable with SAIF/PAIF responses to your posts, that's totally ok (I certainly understand), but if you are, then it's good to add that to your signatures, so we know whether it's ok to respond if you have a question we can answer.  You can also add this to the title or body of individual posts.  

Just wanted to do a little PSA, as there are lots of new members, and I thought maybe some people just weren't aware of the traditional board etiquette.

Thanks Purpleiris- I have been on the boards since January but almost always on mobile where I can not see sigs so I never realized to do that!!! I'll have to fix mine when I get home!

Great advice! Thanks for the heads up...as I always welcome any information anyone can give me...unless it's someone telling me to relax then I'll get pregnant...or you want it too bad.

Yeah, I guess thats one thing that I have forgotten to add to my sig.  Any advice is always welcome, thanks for the reminder...Ill add it

What about those of us who have had success after IF treatments, but are back trying for a second child? I still need advice! It took 3 rounds of ivf to conceive ds in 2007/08 and we've been trying for #2 since 2012. How should I phrase it? 

Second question...How do I put our IF history in the siggy? I tried adding it before the ticker, but it didn't work. Help please??

Thanks Purple! I've wondered why there hasn't been too many PAIF/SAIFers responding lately! I know when we changed systems it screwed up most people's siggies.

Everyone is always welcome on mine (except like @amcastord said, those people should expect a throat punch if they tell me to "relax" )

I am on an ipad, and the siggys are all gone now, as of last week or so? Any idea why?

The secondary infertility or success after infertility boards both have women cycling for their second child. If you feel you must post here regularly, the general rule is that it would be good to remove pictures or signature references to children or pregnancy. If you are only an occasional poster and you don't want to remove those things, it's a nice courtesy to put a "sig warning," "picture warning," "child warning," etc. (as appropriate) in the title of your post or before a response. That way if someone is having a rough day, they can avoid as appropriate and still have this board as a "safe place" to come for support.

Good reminder, PI!  I have "everyone welcome" because I post on TTCAL also, and am always happy to get input from those who have had success.
