Prepping Alvas

Hi ladies! I need some help. I bought 2 alva pockets (the color snap one and another one that came with 2 inserts). The inserts that came with it - 1 is microfiber (it feels like it at least), 2 are bamboo, and I bought one extra, the 4 layer bamboo (but I think it's half microfiber as well). I only use pockets for overnights so I just needed a few more. So how do I prep them? Can I boil all the inserts together and just do a hot wash with them + the pockets after (to prep them) and a hot dry? I know that the fiber mixing can be a no-no but I'm not sure what to do with the half and half one then? TIA!

I've heard for bamboo and hemp you should prep them separately because of the natural oils in them or something like that. Not completely sure though, someone else might be of more help.

I'd just wash the straight MF stuff once with your usual diaper laundry.

The bamboo and bamboo/MF I'd give the first wash with something else (towels, sheets, etc) and your diaper detergent, and then start using it and expect it to improve with time. The blend inserts in particular will be fine in one wash.
