PT question

DS2 is 2y7m. We started PTing and at home he will tell us when he has to pee and go on the toilet. He doesn't stay dry overnight or during naps so I put a diaper on him. Also, he refuses to sit on any other toilets while we are out and also refuses to poop on the toilet.

Should I just keep trying and let him pee/poop in his undies when we're out and hope he starts to ask? Or is he not ready?

We have 3 other kids so we're on the go all the time, it's not really feasible to keep him home all the time.
