Where are you in your TTCAL journey?

4th cycle TTC, CD19.

Do you have any relevant appointments upcoming?

No.

QOTW: How long after your loss did it take for your sex drive to come back?

I got my sex drive back pretty much right away. I just needed to feel as close to my DH as possible. I guess for a while, sex became a much needed stress release for both of us.

I've had my Ian on my mind a lot this week. I seem to be sliding backwards again. I am having a hard time believing that it has almost been 2 1/2 yrs since I last held him.

I decided not to chart this month, so I am not quite sure what CD I am.

Do you have any relevant appointments upcoming?
No.

QOTW: How long after your loss did it take for your sex drive to come back?
Mine was pretty soon after. We obviously waited for PP healing but got back DTD right away.

Just wondering why it has taken us so long to get pregnant again. I have been very frustrated which is why I decided against charting this cycle. I just needed a break from it all.

We waited the suggested 6 weeks. I was nervous about causing damage or it being painful. Fortunately, we both got drunk one night and jumped on each other... And my worries went out the window! LOL It was a great way to get back into it.

So many things... Work, Ava, being pregnant, noticing phantom pregnancy symptoms... LOL. Just one more week until I can know one way or the other.

We are in our first real month of trying.  We aren't charting, so not quite sure of days or anything, but I am 1 week past first true pp period.

No upcoming appointments, hopefully soon though.

My sex drive was back within a couple of weeks.  It was also a way for me to feel connected.  DH did not feel the same though.  He tried to set a date on when we would have our first time, that date came and went.  Then he struggled while I was still experiencing the lochia (7 weeks) because it reminded him too much of what happened.  His sex drive is finally back and he's feeling really good about getting pregnant again.

I was happy to get my period last week, I'm not a 28 day cycle gal.  I was terrified that I wouldn't get it for months (I've gone over a year before), and I'm hoping I become more regular.  It would be nice to have a better idea of when things are happening.

I am on cd 56. YEAH. 56. Don't think I Od.
Do you have any relevant appointments upcoming?
No but saw my doc last week and we did blood work to test my hormone levels. I'm going to ask for provera on Monday if no AF.
QOTW: How long after your loss did it take for your sex drive to come back?
At 6 weeks we had our post partum check up, and went home and started trying for our rainbow

I really, really want to be pregnant. I'm mad at my body right now. It's just not fair.

Honestly, it took a long time.  I was grieving heavily, and was embarrassed of my body and the way I looked.  So yea it took a while for us to get past that.

Really wanting to get pregnant this cycle.  I gave up charting my temp, so I don't think I'll know when I O, but I think I just pay extra close attention to other O signs.

I feel the same way.  I stopped charting, and now I am kicking myself!  But I needed a break too.

QOTW: How long after your loss did it take for your sex drive to come back?
It took a very long time for me.  I bled for 9 weeks after delivery and then I was having such a hard time they put me on zoloft which completely killed my sex drive.  I wasn't interested in anything until I finally came off of it.  I felt like I had to for him, so we did when I finally stopped bleeding, but I wasn't interested until I came off the zoloft.

I'm so incredibly hopeful about this cycle.  Last time I got pregnant under the same conditions as this time.  1st cycle after laparoscopic surgery with an IUI.  I worry that if I'm not pregnant its going to feel like a loss since I feel like I'm pregnant.  I just hope so much that I am and that we can possibly start over again.
