Bone profile test?

So I've been low in iron and I've been on iron tabs now for a few months, had to get a blood test the other day as I've been even more tired and been sick a lot, baby is all good and yes I know a lot of it is just to do with being pregnant but the doc thinks there may be something more

I had pre eclampsia with my last baby and my blood pressure is slowly but surely starting to rise again this time

My blood tests came back saying I had to get my bone profile checked again, what does this mean? Any advice out there would be much appreciated.

It's blood work that checks for bone diseases such as osteoporosis. I'm not sure what advice you need, you're going to have to get your blood drawn. And if you're saying "checked again" then they already checked it, they are doing it again to confirm if there are abnormalities or not.

But you should call your doctor for questions about this, I don't understand why you wouldn't have asked your doctor what this meant when they told you about it if you didn't understand. We don't know your specific numbers or your medical history so please, call your doctor.

You see the results line I had to ring, the girl just reads out what's on the screen, it's not the doctor I was speaking to otherwise I would have asked, I tried ringing him today but he's not there

Then you'll have to wait for your doctor, there could be several reasons why they are doing the test but my above reply would be the most common. Again, it's just a blood draw so I wouldn't worry about it too much in the meantime.
