Man flu...

Struggling with a serious case of the "man flu" at our house right now. I love my husband he is a wonderful man but I always get the urge to run away when he gets sick.

WE BOTH have colds...I have had a fever all day, can barely talk, and have been hacking up a lung. The only thing he seems to have is a very weak sounding cough. I unfortunately had to work a full day from home to finish up some project plans, And he stayed home and slept...all freaking day.

WE sent LO to school, and I asked my DH to go pick him up so that I could get a little bit of rest for a bit. He grudgingly complied, gets home drops LO off on the couch with me and then says he's going back to bed that was all the energy he had for the day!

Here's the best part...I just walked into the room and see him awake through the crack in the door. When he hears me walk in...he closes his eyes and PRETENDS to be asleep. WTH?

I really am resisting the urge to smoother him with his pillow right now. I'll however play the good wife tonight. . He has been workin really hard on our house lately. Men...

Thanks ladies! I think we're just lucky we were built to tolerate more. I better go...I think I hear his bell ringing!

Man flu is probably the worst possible thing to deal with...hope it passes quickly! I don't know how they can't handle the sniffles and we still do it all with colds, flu, viruses etc.,

That sounds like what happens in our house.  My H gets a cold and will be incapacitated for days! I hope he feels better soon.

Man flu is the WORST!  Everytime I get sick, my husband is magically sick, too- and much, much sicker than me, ooooo, eeeeee, waaaaaaaah.

I'm perturbed that he pretended to be asleep.  I would have smothered him for that.  Men are wimps.  Ugh.  Hope you feel better.
