potty training questions

DD will be two in less than a month.  About a month ago she started asking for the potty.  She is mostly going on the potty about 50% of the time. It is very situational for her.  If one of her friends is over, and has to go to the potty then she wants to go.  If we are out shopping or at a restaurant then she will go many times.  If we are getting into or out of the car and she thinks about the potty she HAS to use it...even if we just went in the house or in a store.  Other times she can't be bothered.  If I let her go bare bottom at home she likes peeing on the floor.  She thinks it is funny.  I give her an m&m or a sticker for a treat which she loves.  Do I just continue like this?  Is this typical?

I have tried her in underpants too...and she still seems to like it.  Ha ha ha.  Maybe I can find thicker ones that won't allow so much pee to come out on to the floor.
