So, who else is 37 weeks with no progress?

Not complaining too much, just honestly surprised my body isn't trying to get these babies moving already. Last week the OBGYN checked me and she said my cervix was completely closed and still way up there. Since then (for an entire week) I've had the brown gooey discharge and now some pink too. Either way it's not a big deal since I'm scheduled for a c-section this Sunday.

I never went into labor with my boys and there were still no signs of it at my c/s at 38w1d. I know exactly what you mean and how you are feeling!

Despite doing everything in my power (walking, sex, EPO internally and orally, pumping, etc) I never even progressed past a fingertip dilated until my induction at 39w4d

I just find it amazing. This is baby 5 and 6 for me and I swore they would have been falling out before I hit 37 weeks lol. Especially after reading how many twins (and multiples) come early.

Can I ask if any of your have been on bedrest?

It's so crazy to me how some people have their twins so early (DHs coworkers wife just delivered her twin girls at 25 weeks) and then others can keep them in all the way till the end.

Have your cervixes always been long and thick the whole time? We're you put on any restrictions that helped keep them in there so long?

Can you tell I have anxiety over keeping these girls in as long as possible (I sure like every other multiple mama)?

At 37 weeks I was only 1 cm dialated.  I was induced at 38 weeks due to pre eclampsia but was only 2 cm dialated.  I was terrified the whole pregnancy that I would deliver too early as well....I'm amazed my cervix held them in so long with little progress.  I ended up needing a c section because things still didn't progress even after the induction.

I never dilated at all despite contractions during the 2nd half of the third trimester. Delivered via scheduled c-section at 38 weeks 1 day. It was torture but the longer the better. Hang in there.

I personally have not been on bed rest. However, I do rest A LOT. I have been told by two doctors now that I have fibromyalgia(?). But, it's only bad when I'm pregnant. And I am also anemic as of the last trimester. I have absolutely no energy and hurt all the time. That could definitely be why I've held them in this long with no progress whatsoever.
