I am getting ready to start feeding my LO solids. I'm really at a loss with all this. I was wondering if some of you could share your resources on this topic. What websites, blogs, books, etc do you use for recipes, determining which foods to try when, etc? I have some information from the pedi, but am looking for more in depth information. Any help is appreciated!
https://wholesomebabyfood.momtastic.com/ has helped me a lot because I'm also getting ready to start. I also use pinterest to find blogs, I can't specifically think of their names right now. I just searched under home made baby food.
Place as you, didn't really know whee to start. The first one gives you tons of ideas on what equipment you will need and lots of recipes as well. The past few days, I have put a piece of ripe banana in the food processor, and mixed 1/2 tablespoon with 1/2 tablespoon of cereal and enough breastmilk to thin it out, Finn loves it!!! Since he's just 5 months old, I might stick with that for a little till he gets really good at eating. He learned pretty fast, but I'm not going to rush this process, I'm going to move slow with it! Good luck!
