Personalizing Jewelry (kind of random)

I'm going to be ordering a custom made necklace with a butterfly on the front of the pendant (the butterfly has special meaning to me with regards to DS, and my baby shower was even butterfly themed) and a pearl hanging from the chain as well (his birthstone).  On the back side of the pendant I can get two lines personalized with up to 8 letters on each line.  In the sample picture of the necklace online they have "miracles happen" as the text which I do like but I was kind of hoping to get it more personalized to DS.  For example, his name on the top line and his birthdate on the bottom.  But that seems kinda generic too.  So I'm trying to think of other things I could do....maybe like, "love you" on one line and his name on the next?  I don't know....thoughts?  Suggestions?
