Bleeding after c section

I am now 3 weeks out and still having some vaginal bleeding. It's not much but it is bright red blood. How long should I expect this to last?

Ok. Was just worried bc it had been dark red blood and now it seems to be bright red so I didn't know if this was an issue.

I bled/spotted for 4 weeks

Wow! I only bled for week. I just chalked it up to it having been a csection. Hope I am that lucky this time around.

I am three weeks PP and still having vaginal bleeding. they said to expect it to last 6 weeks. 

It isn't much (maybe 1/4 of what I would get for a period) and it is "off" and "on", so sometimes I won't have any all day and then I will have a little.

I wonder if I'm doing too much too soon and that's why I went from the darker old blood so to speak to the brighter red blood and increased amount as well.....

8 weeks for me but the last few weeks were very light

My dr said it could be 6-8 weeks. I stopped bleeding before leaving the hospital this time.
